Dr. Albert Tartini is a nephrologist at Holy Name who cares for his patients as if they were his own family. The most rewarding part of his work is helping patients feel well again. He is proud to be at Holy Name because patients receive personalized, compassionate treatment.
Dr. Tartini earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. From there he completed a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Vermont.
In addition to being an acclaimed researcher, lecturer, and author, Dr. Tartini also developed the instrument that is now used to biopsy kidneys. He was presented a fellowship into the American College of Physicians for his contribution. Dr. Tartini is also a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the American Medical Association, and a registered pharmacist.
